Westwood Gallery NYC is a contemporary art gallery established in 1995 in the heart of SoHo. We represent several artist estates from the New York school, as well as contemporary artists working in diverse media, including painting, photography, video, and sculpture. The gallery also develops innovative programs that integrate fine art with diverse projects, such as multimedia exhibitions, film production, new technologies, and other unique applications. We have additionally organized and curated over 100 museum-quality exhibitions both in the U.S. and abroad. Our gallery program encompasses traveling museum exhibitions, art talks, private and corporate art consultation, as well as educational and non-profit collaborations.
Gallery founders James Cavello and Margarite Almeida, with internationally acclaimed expertise in the fine arts, have provided curatorial consultation for artist legacy representation, curatorial services, traveling exhibitions, corporate branding, museum acquisitions, private collections, site specific installations, publications, multimedia art projects, artist feature and documentary film production, management of new media art projects, architectural and art integrated concepts, and U.S. and international government art projects
