I find tremendous pleasure in contemplating the beauty embedded in my daily encounters. Often I am drawn into texture, artifacts, and people in the urban context, which evoke an intimate sense of being in a particular place, and therefore kindles my imagination to engage the moment I am in. I cherish these unexpected moments, which sometimes I find humorous, ambivalent, awed, and confrontational, unfolding like dramas, as my spatial experience intertwines with my reflection.
