Artwork Description

Pride and Protest is the symbolic representation of one's inner pride and outer need to fight for justice, equality and the humanity in us all. Color, Creed, Religion, National Origin, Sex or Sexuality, the need to project one's inner humanity, the truth of Self upon the world by any means necessary is outlined only by the lines of the human spirit and Man's connectivity to others. As we move through a world that defines itself in Black, White and sometimes Grey, the definition of color ultimately is what comes out of us as the life's blood spilled upon a dry canvas called life.
