Artwork Description


Mixed medium used to represent my inspiration of a Japanese Kimono using fabric, paper, lace, cords, acrylics and manipulating the cloth base to emulate the folds then adding the various elements.

This collage represents my admiration for the Japanese kimono. as depicted in the block prints of Kitagawa Utamuro ( 1756-1806). Working in flat and relief modes, I added cloth, calligraphy, cords, acrylics and papers.
