I have a 1000 exvoto painting show with a memoir content, that I call: “Ex Vida”. It consists of a sequential story with captions that I want to place with no frames one next to the other forming a quilt-like visual impact on the walls of the gallery. With that amount of paintings I can fill a very large wall or several walls of a gallery space.

With that amount of paintings I can fill a very large wall or several walls of a gallery space. My plan from the beginning was to paint 1000 ex-votos as a graphic novel. I could have done everything as a comic strip, but I decided against it because I wanted to paint every scene that made me what I am now. I don’t know why that amount, perhaps because the number is large but not impossible.
