Barrett Langlinais

I photograph 2-d collages and 3-d constructions that are primarily made from various photographic media. This particular work was created by photographing color photographs that had been painted and incised. I often depict abstracted architectural or spatial elements but I view these as being more atmospheric spaces. I always try to imbue my art with a sense of ambiguity, both in what the work depicts and how the work is constructed.
