It is so hard to shine in this society...but for this young girl on this day she is the center of attention. As she communes with nature, she forgets her inner city life and just enjoys nature's beauty. On this day...I will let her Shine!
Sandra Ayala - I will Let her Shine
Artwork Description
Sandra Ayala
Sandra Ayala first picked up her dslr camera in December of 2008 and has not put it down since. After being bitten by the photography bug, Sandra worked diligently at teaching herself everything she needed to know about her camera. While browsing other current photographers work, she discovered photoshop and that is when everything became interesting. Dabbling in photoshop...she found the art of photographic manipulation and the world of Self-portraiture. Although, Sandra enjoys most types of photography…she truly enjoys creating one of a kind art pieces that include levitation and other interesting concepts where she uses herself or models as the subject. Sandra was born and raised in the South Bronx and still resides there with her husband and two children. She currently works at a local hospital assisting chronically ill patients.
