One determination of gender is an appearance. While male gender has a penis with a flat chest, female gender has breast and vagina. This appearance leads people to understand gender system based on physical body. Moreover, this system leads to prejudices of transgender people who are considered out of binary gender system. I was born as a male figure but wish to have female appearance. Playing with objects over my body was a fragment of my memory. It was a privacy action of me looking at myself in a mirror. Ordinary objects have been recontectualized as female body part. They obscure and transform my gender into another. Photography medium records a fragment of time. My privacy act with various objects was also a fragment of my memory. The place of actions happens in the middle of nowhere, which is a black background, in order to eliminate time and space of my privacy act. The photograph dimension is 34" x 64"with backlit. Each of them is covered with one way mirror. When the backlit are off, a mirror shows a reflection of a viewer. I am intended to use mirror in order let a viewer to look at oneself and consider his or her appearance. When the lights are on, the image of me appears. I am intended to let a viewer to see my naked body with object over my body and let them ask themselves about my gender. Each photograph is installed with the same object as in the image. The idea of playing with objects by a viewer will reflect in a mirror. The act of seeing my portrait images transform viewer's action of the space into voyeurism.
