I like to use alternative cameras and lenses to create a painterly effect. This image is part of a series where I use the Holga plastic camera. It allows me to use the entire roll of film to tell a story, like a miniature movie. Here , I became fascinated with ducks that live in this pond all year round. I studied film making at SUNY Buffalo, and photography at City College of San Francisco, and currently live and work in New York.
