Caleb Tyler Engstrom

In my current studio practice I use material appropriation and visual language in experimenting with the process of accumulation and intuition to make the decisions that go into creating my installations. With the installation/exhibition images, ‘Trusst’, that I have submitted for this review-- I am playing with a variety of material and objects. Once gathered and arranged in the exhibition space, they speak as a whole, in a poetic visual language with layers and new complexity then when they were apart.
